1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website or purchasing our products.

2. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to the processing of your information as outlined therein.

3. Product Information & Availability

• Accuracy: We strive to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images are accurate. However, we do not warrant that all content is completely error-free.
• Product Testing & Unboxing: To maintain quality assurance, certain items may be unboxed, inspected, and fitted with a Warranty Seal/Sticker by our technical team prior to dispatch.
• Stock Availability: All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes out of stock after an order is placed, we will notify you promptly and offer an estimated restock date, a suitable substitute, or cancellation of that order with a refund of any amount already paid for it.

4. Pricing & Payments

• Currency: All prices on our website are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable local taxes, unless stated otherwise.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to alter product prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time the order is placed.
• Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard) and Cash on Delivery (COD). Certain products are available for card payment only, as shown on the product listing.
• Payment Processing: Orders will only be processed upon successful payment verification or authorization.

5. Shipping & Delivery

• Coverage: We deliver products islandwide across Sri Lanka.
• Delivery Timeframes: Standard delivery typically takes 1–3 working days, depending on your delivery location. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.
• Courier Service: Delivery is handled by our authorized courier partners.
• Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout or paid directly in cash to the courier agent upon delivery, as specified during the ordering process.

6. Warranty Policy

• Warranty Duration: A product carries a warranty only if a warranty period is stated in its title, listing, or invoice, using the following codes:
  • Y = Years (e.g., 1Y = 1 Year Warranty, 3Y = 3 Years Warranty)
  • M = Months (e.g., 6M = 6 Months Warranty, 3M = 3 Months Warranty)
• No Warranty: Products without an explicit warranty designation in their title, listing, or invoice carry no warranty.
• Warranty Remedy: Valid warranty claims are fulfilled by repair or replacement, at our discretion, after inspection.
• Warranty Void Conditions:
  • Warranty stickers/void seals applied to items without unique serial numbers must remain completely intact. Any damage, removal, or tampering with the seal voids the warranty immediately.
  • Physical damage, liquid damage, burn marks, unauthorized repairs, or damage caused by power surges or misuse are not covered under warranty.

7. Returns & Replacements

• Eligibility: Returns are accepted only for items that arrive damaged in transit, are defective/non-functional upon delivery, or are incorrectly supplied. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
• Notice Period: Claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
• Process: Contact our support team with proof of purchase and photographs/videos of the issue. Upon verification, the product must be returned to us for inspection.
• Replacement Only: We do not offer cash refunds for returns. Eligible claims are fulfilled by a replacement unit. If an identical unit is unavailable, an equivalent replacement will be offered as agreed with you.
• Exclusions:
  • Items damaged due to customer negligence, improper installation, or altered condition will not be accepted.
  • Items with a damaged or removed warranty seal, or with missing packaging or accessories, may not be accepted.
  • Delivery and handling charges are non-refundable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, R.K.Distributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

• The use or inability to use our website or products.
• Product failures outside the scope of warranty terms.
• Loss of data, profit, or goodwill resulting from product usage.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
